On May 6 and 9, 2026, the Regional Postgraduate School of Integrated Management and Planning of Tropical Forests and Territories (ERAIFT), a UNESCO Category 2 Center, hosted two key delegations dedicated to ecosystem conservation and sustainable management in Central Africa. These visits occurred at its facilities on the University of Kinshasa (UNIKIN) campus, as part of the Strategic Steering Committee for the NaturAfrica program in Central Africa.
On Wednesday, May 6, 2026, ERAIFT hosted a delegation from the NATURAFRICA program, which included representatives from the European Union, CIFOR-ICRAF, COMIFAC, and protected area managers from several Central African countries. Then, on Saturday, May 9, 2026, the School was honored with a visit from members of the European Union Delegation in Central Africa. This visit highlighted the continued interest in the institution's efforts in human capital development, scientific research, and sustainable development support.
