At this event, the Director of ERAIFT and Rector of IFA-Yangambi presented the results of the VCA4D study of the cassava value chain in the DRC, coordinated by ERAIFT and financed by the European Union through AGRINATURA's VCA4D project.

Invited by Professor Pascal Boeckx of UGENT, Baudouin Michel also took part in a panel discussion on research and agriculture in the DRC, moderated by Professor Tom de Mil (Uliege, Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech) and attended by INTPA F3 (CE) representative Mr Luis RODRIGUEZ MENDIZABAL.
