On Tuesday, December 9, 2025, ERAIFT hosted a workshop to present the research findings of the 'Assessment of the Value of Ecosystem Services of the Luki Biosphere Reserve (EVASE-RBL)' project. The event gathered participants from the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development, the National Institute of Agronomic Research and Study, representatives of the Luki Biosphere Reserve steering committee, traditional leaders, ERAIFT scientific staff, as well as students from ERAIFT's 7th master’s class and other local higher education institutions. The workshop was opened by ERAIFT’s director, who praised the institute's role in advancing research and training for the sustainable management of forest ecosystems in the Luki Biosphere Reserve and, more broadly, in tropical regions.
